Ken Morgan Architects latest project in Carmarthenshire County

Ken Morgan

Our latest project in Carmarthenshire County involves the re-aligning and entrance lane to a remote farm courtyard.

The dilapidated farmhouse will be demolished and replaced with a new dwelling serviced off the new entrance driveway. The project is in the survey stage before commencing design options.

In the Vale of Glamorgan Council area we have demolished part of a two storey house and a single storey rear annex in a Conservation area of Penarth. An insulated timber frame extension with large areas of full height glazing will create a new open-plan kitchen/dining area.

We are currently negotiating for a project in the Swansea area which will involve remodelling a dwelling to provide disabled facilities with wheelchair access through all parts of the house.

A design for adding a first floor extension above five lock up shops in the Borough of Neath & Port Talbot will be submitted to the council soon.

In a Gower conservation area at the village of Southgate we are applying for planning consent to build one new house in the garden of an existing property. We have obtained an Arboricultural Impact Assessment to ensure that mature trees on the site are safeguarded.
